Super Junior OTPs: Pepero Day

=== EunHae ===

"Happy Pepero Day to all the listeners right now from us here at Sukira."

Leeteuk greeted on the mic and bent down to check on his mobile phone as it beeped and signaled a new message.

"Ah, our listeners right now should feel very lucky." Leeteuk said, still talking on the mic and Eunhyuk glanced at him. "Donghae-shii just sent us a text message. It seems as if he's listening to Sukira right now."

E.L.F. who were outside the studio listening squealed and Eunhyuk sat up straight in his chair.

"He said, 'Thank you very much to that cute girl who gave me three boxes of Pepero while I was out jogging this early morning. She made my Pepero Day extra sweet. Happy Pepero Day to all of you.'"

E.L.F. went 'awwww' both at Donghae's cheesiness and being disappointed at how someone was able to give their oppa a gift first thing in the morning. Eunhyuk on the other hand was jealous but he remembered what happened this morning so he chuckled.

"Yes, Eunhyuk-shii? Why are you laughing?"

Eunhyuk twirled around in his seat and faced his mic.

"I wanted to share a funny story to our listeners today, Leeteuk-shii." Eunhyuk couldn't help supress his laughter as Leeteuk motioned for him to go on.

"This morning, when we headed to work to practice for Super Show 4, I saw three boxes of Pepero on the kitchen counter." Eunhyuk covered his mouth for awhile from his huge gummy smile. "I knew it was for Donghae. But I opened one and ate three sticks."

Enhyuk was jealous. But of course he wouldn't admit it. So instead of buying Donghae Pepero, he ate three of the sticks instead.

Hey, I left him some. It's not as if I finished the whole box. Eunhyuk thought and suddenly, Leeteuk's phone beeped again.

"Ah, it's another message from Donghae-shii. Should I still read it out loud?"

Eunhyuk nodded as if he didn't care what Donghae would say.

"He said, 'So it was you. And here I blamed Kyuhyun for stealing them. Now that I know, I think I'll give some Pepero to Choco.'"

Eunhyuk scrambled up and took the mic in his hands.

"Yah! Lee Donghae! You know Choco is allergic to chocolate! You better not give him any! Yah! Donghae I know you're listening right now!"

Leeteuk laughed as he struggled to put Eunhyuk back in his seat.

As soon as they went off air and said goobye to their listeners, Eunhyuk and Leeteuk drove home as fast as they could. Well, their driver did with Eunhyuk pleading at him every few seconds to go faster.

The moment Eunhyuk opened the door to the living room, he saw Donghae walking around in his pajamas, half a stick of Pepero in his mouth.

"Where's Choco?!" Eunhyuk demanded looking for his precious dog. "Choco? Choco! Daddy's home!"

"Relax, I didn't give him any." Donghae snickered. "You had a heart attack, didn't you?"

"Yah! You- You're really mean!" Eunhyuk exclaimed and Leeteuk rolled his eyes at the two of them before retreating to his room.

"Oh yeah? Who was the one who ate my Pepero sticks without asking for my permission?" Donghae crossed his arms, still biting on half a stick of Pepero at the side of his mouth.

"Yeah well, who was flirting this morning while jogging?"

"Hey! I didn't flirt! And who was the one who didn't give me any Pepero today?"

Eunhyuk looked at him then.

"Ok, fine. Here."

Eunhyuk closed the gap between him and Donghae and bit at that half a stick of Pepero until his and Donghae's lips were close enough.

"Happy Pepero Day." Eunhyuk mumbled with a grin and crushed his lips to him.

Donghae didn't care anymore if Eunhyuk didn't give him a box of Pepero.

Kisses were better gifts anyway.

=== YeWook ===

Yesung stood infront of the mirror in his room, a Pepero stick in his mouth.

This is embarrassing. He thought.

He was practicing how to bite a Pepero stick that wouldn't crumble. He was going on a game show tomorrow and the script said one of the games was for him and some girl to play the Pepero Game. He always sucked at games.

I hate this game. He thought, holding the tip of the stick. He slowly bit into it until he reached the tip. But he wasn't able to leave a small amount as the stick crumbled in the end.

"Aish." He grumbled, taking another stick from the box and placing it in his mouth. At that moment, the door opened and Ryeowook came in.

"Hyung, I'm looking for a -"

Yesung scrambled as the box of Pepero sticks fell and Ryeowook just stared at him. He grinned sheepishly at the younger one.

"You know, playing a Pepero game without a partner defeats the purpose of the game." Reowook pointed out and Yesung groaned, picking up the Pepero box.

"I know. But who am I going to practice it with?"

Ryeowook thought for a moment and approached Yesung.

"Gimme." He said and Yesung just stared wide eyed at him.

"I'm not practicing with you." Yesung hid the box behind him.

"Come on Hyung, gimme. It's just the two of us." Ryeowook replied and Yesung finally handed him a stick. The younger one balanced it on his mouth and motioned for Yesung to come closer. Yesung slowly bit at the other end and blushed as he saw Ryeowook looking at him.

So close. He thought, blushing some more. He knew Ryeowook was beautiful. But seeing him this close, he was breathtaking.

"Okay, ready?" Ryeowook mumbled and Yesung just gulped. Ryeowook took it as a sign as he moved and bit onto it and Yesung just stared at him.

Ryeowook had amazing cheekbones. His skin wasn't perfect due to the late night schedules and he loved drinking alcoholic beverages. But he was beautiful. He wondered why Ryeowook didn't have a girlfriend yet then took it back as he realized he didn't want him to have one anyway.

Wait, why did I think that?

Ryeowook was working his way closer and closer to him now and Yesung hasn't even bitten into his stick yet. All he did was watch as Ryeowook inched his way closer and Yesung's breath hitched. Ryeowook had his eyes closed as he neared him, he could feel his bangs brush his forehead. Yesung didn't move as Ryeowook twisted his head so their noses wouldn't bump and Yesung opened his mouth slightly, welcoming his lips.

But that went wrong when he felt the Pepero stick he was balancing in his mouth drop to the floor and Ryeowook's eyes snapped open.

He forgot about the game at all.

"What did you do that for?!" Ryeowook whined. "Now we have to start over."

Yesung just blushed as Ryeowook took another stick from the box and placed it on his mouth.

"Again, hyung."

Yesung just nodded.

He didn't hate this game anymore.

He loved it.

=== KyuMin ===

"You know, I really don't get all this craziness over Pepero Day."

Kyuhyun sat down on the living room couch, holding a basket filled with Pepero boxes that a staff handed them. Their fans were going all out this year giving them Pepero in huge baskets filled with lots and lots of chocolates and stuffed toys.

"But Pepero Day is fun! Don't tell me you haven't gotten any when you were at school." Sungmin replied, opening one of the boxes and going "oooh" at the almond covered stick.

"I have. But it's just a box of cookie sticks. What's so special about them?" Kyuhyun crossed his arms over his chest, just looking at Sungmin beside him eating it and giggling.

"Well, nothing really. But that feeling when someone hands you that small box of Pepero on Pepero Day, you know you're someone special to him or her."

Kyuhyun thought about this.

"Huh... Really..."

The next morning when Sungmn woke up in Kyuhyun's arms, he was surprised to see a huge life size box of Pepero standing on the foot of his bed.

"Oh my god." Sungmin exclaimed, looking all surprised and touched.

"Morning." Kyuhyun kissed him on the cheek. "Happy Pepero Day."

Sungmin turned to Kyuhyun.

"You're a day late." He pointed out and Kyuhyun looked up to think.

"Then I'll just take the whole thing back then.Or give it away. Donghae hyung helped put it in here in the middle of the night. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I give it back to him." Kyuhyun replied.

"You wouldn't." Sungmin tackled him back on the bed.

"Cho Kyuhyun I was just teasing." He giggled pinning Kyuhyun with his hands as he clambered on top of him.

"Thank you." Sungmin smiled and kissed him, lifting his head up slightly just to talk to him. "Happy Pepero Day too."

"But where's my gift?" Kyuhyun asked and Sungmin had a sexy grin on his face.

"Is it okay if it's not Pepero?" Sungmin asked coyly.

Kyuhyun then took that moment to flip him over and Sungmin yelped.

"It doesn't have to be."

=== HanChul ===

"What the hell is this?"

Heechul glanced at the boxes of Pepero which were all over his bed.

Donghae who was passing by his room looked at the huge pile of it.

"Whoa!" Donghae went over and dived on the space that was not filled with boxes. "Who sent you these? E.L.F.?"

"I don't know. Whoever they are, they're going to get an earful from me. They know I don't eat chocolate."

Heechul took one of the boxes and looked at the nutritional facts and felt disgusted. Army training made him more conscious of his diet more than before.

"If you don't want them, can I have them?" Donghae asked pleadingly and before Heechul could tell him to have it all, his phone rang. Donghae left, sneaking out one of the boxes thinking Heechul didn't notice.

"What?" Heechul barked on his phone.

"Uh, is this a bad time?"

Heechul's eyes widened at the caller's voice. He took his phone from his ear and glanced at the number.

Unknown.

"Heechul?"

Heechul placed the phone back in his ear.

"Hankyung?"

"Happy Pepero Day."

Heechul's mouth formed a thin line but gently turned into a smile.

"You're still not talking to me?" Hankyung asked.

Heechul just sat on his bed, listening to Hankyung's voice. He missed him. So so much.

He heard the Chinese man sigh.

"I figured. I just called checking to see if you did receive the Pepero boxes I sent? I wasn't sure if you wanted one or two. I hope that's enough?"

Heechul just glanced at the huge pile and smiled again but didn't say anything.

"Heechul... Talk to me."

Heechul wanted to. But he still kept quiet.

"I want to hear your voice too you know. It's hard talking in Korean."

Heechul almost chuckled at that but held himself.

He heard someone from the background calling him to get ready for his photoshoot. His basic Chinese made him understand that he was about to go.

"I have to go now." Hankyung said and Heechul could hear the sadness in his voice. He didn't want him to leave yet either. "Take care Heechul."

"Hankyung?"

The line was quiet except for the other one's breathing.

"Heechul?"

Heechul smiled into the mouthpiece.

"Happy Pepero Day."

After a moment or two, Heechul heard him sigh. One that was filled with relief.

"Happy Pepero Day too."

The next morning, Donghae came in Heechul's room to wake him up and wondered why his hyung held all of those Pepero Boxes to sleep.

=== KangTeuk ===

"Package for a Mr. Kim Youngwoon?"

Kangin looked up from his bunk bed and took the package from one of the soldiers.

"Thanks." He said and sat back down, unwrapping it.

"Ooooh." One of the soldiers said. "Is it from your girlfriend?"

Kangin blushed and chuckled at the sound of "ooohs" following right after around him.

"I bet you it's from his girlfriend. I heard idols don't really break up with their girls even after they enlisted."

"It could just be from his mom."

"Nah, it has to be from his girlfriend. It's Pepero Day today. Nobody just sends you a package looking like that."

Kangin was smiling as he unwrapped the white package with pink ribbons in the middle. As he opened it, a white box dropped on his lap. A note fell out and before his team mates teased him some more, he went over to a corner and read it.

"So, is it really from your girlfriend?" One of them asked as Kangin stood up and opened the box.

"Yeah." Kangin beamed as he saw the box filled with white chocolate covered Pepero sticks. "They're from my girlfriend."

Meanwhile back at the SJ dorm, Leeteuk was paying Ryeowook back with dozens of stuffed bunnies for helping him bake those home made Pepero sticks.

=== HenBer ===

"Hey."

Amber nodded as Henry entered the dance studio.

"Hey back at you." She said as Henry sat next to her.

"So."

Amber looked up from the dance formation sheet she was holding and looked at Henry who was red as a tomato.

"So?" She asked, wondering what was making her best friend so nervous.

"I... uh..." Henry stammered. "Do you know what day it is today?"

Amber thought for awhile and shook her head.

"Friday?" Amber replied and Henry just looked at her.

"You really don't know what day it is today?" Henry asked again and Amber shook her head.

"No. Why? What's up?" Amber asked and Henry clambered on his feet.

"Nothing!" And then he ran to the door. When he opened it, Amber could see dozens of hands pushing him back inside and she heard voices saying "Do it now or you're going to get a year's worth of fan service from Siwon." That made Henry give up and close the door.

"Henry? What's wrong?" Amber asked again as Henry walked slowly towards her, hands on his back.

"Uh... There's this thing these Koreans have today. I know we don't usually celebrate this but uh..." Henry took his hands out from his back and handed her a small box of Pepero with a pretty ribbon and a violin card attached to it.

"Happy Pepero Day." Henry whispered and Amber just stared at his best friend who was blushing so much.

After a moment or two, Amber walked towards him, took the box of Pepero from his hands and placed a quick kiss on his fluffy red cheeks.

"Happy Pepero Day too, Henry."

Henry smiled as Amber playfully punched him on the shoulder for being shy around her.

Outside the studio, Eunhyuk and Shindong high fived as Kyuhyun and Leeteuk groaned. The others just went aww at the sight they just saw.

"Cough up. We knew she'd kiss him."

=== WonMi ===

"You remind me of a Pepero."

Zhou Mi turned around to look at Siwon who was blushing and staring at his feet.

"A what?" Zhou Mi asked.

"A Pepero. You know? Those long cookie sticks?" Siwon replied.

Zhou Mi raised one of his eye brows at him.

"I remind you of all things fat?"

Siwon suddenly did one of his gestures, waving at him that it wasn't what he meant.

"No no! I meant you remind me of a Pepero. Long. Sweet. And really special."

Siwon blushed again and Zhou Mi smiled at him, chuckling as he saw Siwon be all awkward. It was rare to see the mighty Choi Siwon be like this.

"So, what are you saying?" Zhou Mi asked, testing the younger one. He knew Siwon was trying to confess to him today. Ryeowook managed to tell him when they were on the phone last night that Siwon was spilling all his worries to him all week. Siwon didn't know that Zhou Mi felt the same way and was just waiting for him.

"Huh?" Siwon looked up from Zhou Mi, confused.

"You told me I remind you of a Pepero. Ok, I'm a Pepero. Is that all?"

Siwon then looked around, scratching the back of his head, clearly noticing how his plan of impressing Zhou Mi failed.

"Uh... You... I... uh.." Siwon stammered and Zhou Mi chuckled. He rummaged through his bag and took out a box of Pepero that he managed to grab hold of at the duty free shop from the airport. The last one to be exact since everyone who was coming home decided to buy one at the last minute.

"You don't have to say anything." Zhou Mi smiled and handed Siwon the cookie sticks. "Happy Pepero Day, Shi Yuan."

Siwon just stared wide eyed as he saw the box and hugged Zhou Mi.

"Hey, we're not on stage you know. You don't have to do this." Zhou Mi remarked, laughing.

"Yeah, I know. Just, thanks gege." Siwon replied. "Happy Pepero Day to you too."

=== ShinNari ===

Nari stomped on the ground at each step she took as she walked along Lotte World.

This sucks, she thought. Pepero Day was supposed to be spent feeling all special with your boyfriend. But apparently, that won't happen since her boyfriend was a Hallyu star.

She sighed and sat down at one of the benches feeling rotten. She was supposed to be understanding about this. She knew what it meant to have a boyfriend who was popular and busy. But just this day, she hoped, just this day would be an exception. It had been awhile since they went out anyway.

"Balloon?"

Nari looked up to see a huge teddy bear mascot handing her a blue balloon. She smiled and took it, thanking the bear.

"I hope you're okay miss, you seem down." The teddy bear said as it sat down beside her. She wondered what it was doing here, talking to her when she glanced at the balloon she was holding.

It said E.L.F.

Nari smacked the teddy bear's tummy playfully and she heard a small "Oooof."

"What was that for?!" Shindong's voice came out all stuffy.

"Of all the balloons to give me, you gave me one from your company?" Nari accused but smiling to herself.

"Hey, I'll have you know, girls like that balloon." Shindong replied. "And it was the only balloon I could find while I was at work."

Nari just smiled at him and linked her arm around the bear.

"Thank you for coming." She said and heard Shindong chuckle.

"Sorry I was late." He replied. "Happy Pepero Day. Eventhough I haven't brought any."

Nari smiled as she and Shindong walked around the park, enjoying their time alone.

At the end of the day, workers from Lotte World were baffled as they tried to figure out why a huge teddy bear was seen riding a roller coaster.

=== Kibum and E.L.F. ===

Kibum was confused.

He was standing in front of the SJ dorm, a large hood covering his head and a face mask hiding him from anybody who could recognize him.

He always stood there every day and at the same time just looking at the large group of girls just huddling together outside their dorm.

They were always waiting for them.

Kibum was confused because he didn't know if he should feel touched that they were waiting for them all the time or if he still deserves their patience and love.

I've been gone for so long. I don't think they remember me anymore. So how could they wait for me?

Someone tugged at his arm while he was contemplating and he looked to see a girl who he knew was a part of that crowd too. He stiffened.

"You're Kibum oppa, aren't you?" She silently asked and Kibum nodded, not knowing why he didn't deny it. Maybe because she was an E.L.F. and he knew he can never really lie to E.L.F.

"This is for you." She said, handing him a small red box and Kibum shook his head, ready to decline. Everyone knows Kim Kibum does not accept gifts.

But the girl took his hand out and pressed the box firmly in there. The girl pleaded with her eyes when Kibum looked at her and he took it in the end.

"Thank you." She said and Kibum thanked her back too.

"Oppa," She started before walking away. "We miss you."

Kibum just stared after her. A smile broke out into his face, one that he hasn't been able to do so for awhile.

He didn't know when he would be back. But he wasn't confused anymore of how he felt.

They missed him. And they were waiting for him.

Kibum silently promised them, "soon."
