EunHae: Remember Me Chapter 19

Hyukjae didn't know where he was or what he was doing but all he knew was that he felt so comfortable and not even the loud chirping of the birds nor the sound of the waves crashing on the beach along with the sun light hitting his eyes were going to make him budge from his place.

He was in between being conscious and asleep. And he didn't want to wake up. He hasn't had a comfortable sleep for as long as he could remember and he was determined to keep this feeling for a little while longer.

But after awhile, the sunlight was getting to him and even though his eyes were closed, he could feel like he was being blinded by it. Hyukjae tried to block the sun from his face when his arm felt heavy. He tried with his other hand and he felt the same thing. Hyukjae brought his arms closer to him, testing them again when he felt something warm and soft against his chest. Hyukjae opened his eyes with a start and eventhough the sunlight made him squint for a bit, he saw that he had his arms wrapped around a sleeping figure who had his back turned from him.

Hyukjae didn't need to see who it was but his heart started racing as he realized it was Aiden. He silently cursed at the situation he was in. Why do awkward things have to happen between the two of us?

Slowly, hoping he was still asleep, he tugged at his other arm to break free. But he couldn't and Hyukjae wondered why Aiden was so heavy. The man was shorter than him and surely Hyukjae was a bit stronger. Swimming has helped him build muscles and he wondered if dancing did the same thing too.

Hyukjae tugged again, still careful at what he was doing when Aiden rolled over and turned to face him. Hyukjae froze as Aiden nuzzled himself in his arms, his face just inches away from Hyukjae.

Hyukjae didn't dare breathe and didn't dare move as he saw Aiden's face up close. His hair brushed his eyes and he twisted his head to the side and shook it away.

"Aiden," Hyukjae whispered, deciding to wake the other one up. This was getting more and more awkward and Hyukjae decided to risk it. Besides, he had been in a lot of awkward situations with Aiden already that Hyukjae didn't mind that another was being added to the list. He felt like he was a pro at these things.

Aiden didn't seem to hear him as Hyukjae continued on whispering. Then the whispers turned into a slight raising of his voice with nudging him from his back.

"Aiden. Aiden." Hyukjae said now in his normal tone, raising it a little here and there. He considered just releasing his arms from under Aiden's body quickly since it wouldn't wake him up anyway but as he tried to do so, he couldn't.

"Aiden. Wake up." Hyukjae continued to nudge him again and just when he was about to give up, Aiden stirred, and Hyukjae's face met Aiden's palm as the sleeping figure smacked him.

"Mmmm... away... sleep." Aiden murmured as he went back to sleep. Hyukjae groaned silently at the pain in his nose and considered just pulling away from Aiden. He tried and as he pulled at his arm harshly, it caused Aiden to twist around and he woke up with a start as he noticed that the soft cushion of Hyukjae's arms were gone.

"Finally." Hyukjae exclaimed as Aiden sat up, looking at where he was sleeping, one eye still close. "If you stayed that way a minute longer I doubt I'd be able to use my arms for today."

"Were you... hugging me?" Aiden asked after yawning and looking around and Hyukjae felt his cheeks blush. Aiden broke out into smile after that and giggled. "You were! You were hugging me!"

Hyukjae covered his cheeks instantly as Aiden laughed. He really really wanted the sand beneath him to suck him up at that moment.

Aiden yawned again and stretched out. "But wow. I think I just had the most comfortable sleep in my whole life. Thank you." Aiden continued to tease.

"Oh shut up." Hyukjae said as he got on his feet. "If I won't be able to move my arms, it'll be your fault."

"I barely get a good night's sleep these days. We should do this more often." Aiden said and Hyukjae almost dropped the thin blanket he was folding up. Aiden saw it and laughed harder again.

"Here." Hyukjae handed Aiden back his blanket. "I'm going up first. Nichkhun, Jinwoon, Seungri and I are going out this morning and I'm already late." Hyukjae dusted off his pants. "You want to come?"

Aiden shook his head. "Would love to but Hankyung hyung, Jungsu hyung and I are going out too."

"Oh, okay." Hyukjae said. "Well, I have to go. Thank you. For last night."

"When you say it like that it just sounds like we did something last night."

Hyukjae blushed again. "I meant for the time that we had last night!"

"Still sounds the same." Aiden laughed and Hyukjae just grumbled embarrassingly under his breath.

"Whatever Aiden. Just, thanks. I'm going up." Hyukjae said quickly, turning around and walking back to the hotel as fast as he could.

Aiden just gave him an amused laugh from behind.

Hyukjae collapsed on the bed in his room as soon as they all got home that afternoon, his legs almost giving way.

"We are never letting Jinwoon plan what we're doing ever again." Nichkhun said as he sat on the carpeted floor, exhausted from all the walk they did.

Jinwoon, Nichkhun, Seungri and Hyukjae went around the city, going sight seeing and eating Jeju's street food along the way. At first they were taking the bus around but during the afternoon, Jinwoon had insisted that they walk all the way to make sure they didn't miss any sights.

He was right of course. Hyukjae saw some little street markets and bought extra souveniers for Henry and his grandmother. He also bought some for Sungmin, Ryeowook and Yesung and added Jeju's local snacks. In the end he was carrying a lot of stuff and there were more places to see. There were so many that the rest didn't even care anymore if they weren't able to see them. They were just too exhausted to care.

"I don't feel like going to that party tonight anymore. I just want to sleep till we reach Seoul." Nichkhun groaned and Hyukjae did too as he remembered their plans for tonight.

They were having a party for their last night at Jeju down at Siwon's yacht. Hyukjae didn't want to come now that he was too tired but he knew nobody wasn't going to pass this off. And besides, it would look rude if they didn't come and just slept.

"Oh," Nichkhun lifted his head. "Speaking of sleeping, where were you last night? I woke up this morning and thought you got locked out and I wasn't able to wake up from all your knocking."

"I slept on the beach." Hyukjae shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal but his insides made him want to smile as he remembered what happened last night and this morning.

"Oooh, with who?" Nichkhun asked, eyes sparkling from curiosity.

"No one." Hyukjae said shrinking a little. "I just wanted to sleep there."

"Yah, Lee Eunhyuk you're not good at lying, are you. And you're blushing!" Nichkhun grinned, pointing at his cheeks.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I just slept there alone." Hyukjae said and Nichkhun laughed.

"Okay." Nichkhun said, standing up and taking some clothes out of his luggage. "Well, whoever you were with last night - and I know you were with someone Eunhyuk-ah, I can tell -" Nichkhun grinned as Hyukjae was about to open his mouth to deny it. He closed it back down as Nichkhun contined, "He or she must've given you a great night for you to have that blush on your cheeks grow redder and redder as we talk about it every minute."

Hyukjae sighed, giving up as Nichkhun continued to laugh.

"I'll go shower up first." Nichkhun said, carrying his stuff to the bathroom and closing the door behind him.

But as Hyukjae heard the shower turn on, his face broke out into a smile, remembering indeed that it was a great night.

"Whoooooooo!"

Hyukjae laughed as Jinwoon zoomed past them, carrying his drink and dancing along to the music. Their last night at Jeju was indeed a blast and Hyukjae had to hand it to Siwon for the huge celebration.

The food was one of the finest he had seen and the yacht looked spectacular. There were lanterns hanging on top of them and small streamers here and there. Leeteuk was the DJ for tonight and he had the dance floor busy since the start of the party. Everyone was dancing, eating and drinking and Jinwoon, Nichkhun, Seungri and Hyukjae didn't feel tired anymore. They were having the time of their lives.

He noticed there were extra security tonight along the railings and Hyukjae remembered the incident a few days back. He was thankful Siwon thought of everything for this, still allowing the party to go on in his yacht as planned.

"Have you tried the oysters?" Seungri asked, suddenly there with a bottle of beer on his hand. "They're so good!"

"You should try the barbecue too. I don't know how many I've had already!" Nichkhun shouted against the music and Hyukjae laughed as bits of barbecue landed on Seungri.

"Oops." Nichkhun said flicking them away and laughing as well.

"Aren't you guys going to dance?" Jinwoon asked, coming back to them and Seungri held up his oyster.

"Still eating." He replied.

"I'm dancing." Nichkhun said, pulling Seungri and Hyukjae anyway. "Come on!"

Hyukjae followed Nichkhun and the rest towards the dance floor and even though he didn't dance much nor went to parties, he found himself jumping and moving to the beat.

Leeteuk was the best DJ, shifting from song to song and keeping the party going. Soon enough, Seungri, who was already drunk, had a mini dance floor cleared as he break danced and people were cheering him on.

"Alright, Seungri!" Uee shouted from across them and Nichkhun whistled. As soon as he got to his feet, Seungri pulled Hankyung from the crowd and Hankyung showed them all why he was in charge of the dance in the fitness center. He was amazing on the dance floor and Hyukjae joined in the cheering.

"You next!" Nichkhun shouted in his ear and before Hyukjae could decline, Nichkhun was already pushing him towards the center and Hankyung was shouting "Go Eunhyuk!"

Hyukjae faltered for a moment, not really knowing what to do but then he decided hey, it was a party, and went on with it, dancing along to the beat and moving his body. He didn't even know if what he was doing was right. He just danced along to what he felt like and was even smiling at how awesome this was. Dancing and jumping to the beat was fun.

Within a few seconds he heard cheers coming from around him and he breathed a sigh of relief. I guess I'm doing it right.

Hyukjae went over to the side and grabbed Nichkhun now, placing him on the center of the dancefloor as he stepped back to the side and jumped along to the music.

Hyukjae was having so much fun that night and he was too preoccupied to notice that Aiden had been staring at him the whole time.

Aiden stared as Eunhyuk jumped from the sides, hands in the air. Sweat covered his entire body making it look like Eunhyuk was glistening under the lights. Aiden's heart pumped as he continued to stare at him and he wasn't sure if it was the drink he had earlier or just the sight of him.

Aiden was dancing along with the others on one side when he noticed Hankyung was dancing to an audience. He whistled as Hankyung did his thing and was about to come over when he saw Nichkhun push Eunhyuk towards the middle. Aiden had stopped and was going to watch and prepare a whole round of teasing remarks for him when Eunhyuk caught him by surprise and actually danced in front of the crowd. And all Aiden could do was stare wide eyed as he did.

Never in his whole life had Aiden's attention been caught by someone who danced. He had seen a lot of professional and street dancers in classical dances, hip hop, ballet... but not what Eunhyuk just did. Hankyung was the best he'd seen so far but even his dances doesn't seem to make Aiden's eyes go wide or make his mouth drop open. What Eunhyuk did.... it was different.

Eunhyuk moved like dancing was second nature to him. Popping his chest, moving his arms, waving his body, Aiden has never seen anybody dance so fluidly like that. It was beautiful.

And most of all, it was sexy.

The way the lights shone down on him, the party atmosphere, the music, his sweat. Aiden's heart banged against his chest as his eyes roved up and down Eunhyuk's body. He was so into it too that Aiden was deeply attracted to the way he moved. And he hadn't noticed before but damn that boy had the finest jawline he has ever seen. Why was he attracted to that so much?

Aiden saw Eunhyuk jump to the side and pull Nichkhun now and Aiden looked away, heart still beating wildly against his chest.

He... Why was he looking at Eunhyuk like that?

Aiden looked around and saw some of the girls squealing and pointing to Eunhyuk and he thought, Good, I'm not the only one who thinks this. But at the same time, as Aiden walked away, he felt jealous. Jealous that girls saw what he saw and he didn't want others to think of how sexy Eunhyuk was.

Aiden went up to the bar and ordered a bottle of beer and drank half of it's contents in one gulp.

This is crazy, he thought. His heart was not helping as it continued to beat furiously.

He stole another glance at Eunhyuk's direction and he almost drowned at the sight he saw. Eunhyuk's polo shirt was clinging to him because of his sweat and it was hugging his body in a way that Aiden was able to make out a very defined chest and a very sexy waist line. Does swimming do that to your body?

Aiden squeezed his eyes shut for a second willing those thoughts away and drained the rest of his drink but ordered another one before he left to mingle with the others.

"Hey, you," Nichkhun clapped Hyukjae's back from behind. "You didn't tell us you could dance like that!"

Hyukjae smiled shyly. "I didn't know either."

Jinwoon laughed. "Come party with us every Fridays after we get off from work. We're sure to win girls with you around."

Yunho and Hankyung laughed at them as they continued to go on and on about Hyukjae's dancing skills.

"Seriously, why are you even here on the swimming department when the dance people can have you?" Seungri asked as Hankyung said "Yeah!" and Yunho playfully shoved him.

"Yah, are you trying to lose me a swimming trainer? It took a long while before we found him!" Yunho said.

"We're kidding. But you have to admit, Eunhyuk here almost won all the girls." Seungri said, motioning to some girls far off who were wispering and then giggling. One waved at Hyukjae and he blushed before Jinwoon stood by his side and waved at the girls himself.

"I'm going over to those girls. Thank you Eunhyuk-ah!" Jinwoon said while Yunho threw an arm around him.

"I'm coming too." The both of them quickly went away and the rest of them laughed.

"Eunhyuk-ah!" Someone shouted from behind Hyukjae and he turned to see Aiden waving furiously at him. As he got nearer Hyukjae saw that he looked flushed and his breath smelled like alcohol.

"Eunhyuk-ah!" Aiden exclaimed again as he bumped into Hyukjae and almost fell. Hyukjae caught him and helped him steady himself, one arm around his waist.

"Aiden, you're drunk." Hyukjae said, worried at him and Hankyung came over to Aiden's other side to help him out.

"You guys, you guys," Aiden said, his words sounding incoherent. "I'm fine." He said and Hankyung and Hyukjae looked at each other. They momentarily released Aiden from their hold and as he stood up smiling, his knees gave way and Hyukjae was gripping at him again faster than Hankyung could.

"Woops." Aiden giggled and then started laughing.

"We better get him to a cabin downstairs." Seungri said, looking around for a way out when Aiden waved him off.

"I'm fine! I'm fine! Unless you guys want to come with me too? The cabin is big and we could all have a slumber party!" Aiden raised his hands in the air and Nichkhun ducked to avoid getting hit.

"Aiden you need coffee. Or sleep." Hyukjae said, lifting him up a little so that he could carry more of his weight.

"Oh come on Eunhyuk-ah! You love slumber parties! We had one last night, didn't we?"

Nichkhun raised his eyes curiously at Hyukjae and he ignored him.

"Come on, Aiden." Hyukjae said but Aiden was squirming under his grasp.

"Wait wait WAIT!" Aiden said almost yelling in Hyukjae's ears.

"What?"

"I came to find you because there was something I was curious about and I cannot absolutely go without knowing." Aiden said, swaying back and forth.

"Okay, we can talk about it downstairs-"

"No! I need to do it now!" Aiden stomped his foot like a little child and Hyukjae sighed.

"Alright, what is it?" Hyukjae asked, loosening his grip on Aiden a little and he removed himself from Hankyung's hold.

"This." Aiden smiled goofily at him and Hyukjae was not prepared at all at what Aiden did.

Hyukjae could only hear Nichkhun, Seungri and Hankyung gasp as he suddenly felt Aiden's lips on his.
